VR Multiplayer sounds hard but is actually super easy!
Hi! At the beginning of this video I can see you impliment Quest hand tracking which appears to be working with Normcore. Just wondering how involved this was to set up? I'm currently syncing hand animations from controllers just using the two float values from the grip and trigger, but I'm interested in implimenting hand tracking and having that sync via Normcore as well. Thanks!
Thanks for the tutorial – it is so hard to find anything on Normcore. A couple of things though – the discord link seems invalid and there's no link to download any code. That wouldn't matter so much except I don't think my project is working as it should. On that score, it would be nice to see it working on your video in order to get an idea what to expect. But it's been useful nonetheless.
I have just stumbled across your channel. The content is right up my alley. If possible, could you either increase your voice volume or turn down the intro volume. When viewing your videos I first turn down the volume on the intro and then turn it up to hear you. No biggy.. just some feedback. I have started work on 2 VR games on the Oculus Quest and it's great to find channels like yours. Oculus are evolving very quickly. Anyway.. I look forward to your future videos.
The grabbing does not work anymore with Normcore2; SimpleGrab.cs does not switch the grabbable cube's rigidbody for grabbing control. Any hints what needs to be changed to make this work with Normcore2 again?
Hey i like your videos… I was wondering if you could do a ragdoll and physics based stabbing system? because as of right now, i cant figure out how to make it so that i can actually stab something and have the knife stick inside of it.
I have a few questions related to this video and normcore. 1) Your example is using an example on their website with Avatar that is very basic. Can you integrate a real-like Avatar that many VR apps use? 2) How does room / session management work? 3) When will normcore show logs / access details / analytics in the account management? It says coming soon since past many months. 4) How do you optimize your app for normcore sync? Between two test runs we find some of the objects not syncing consistently.
I wasn’t even planning on doing something like this but I’ve tried in the past, and you just made it so much easier. I can’t thank you enough for this entire channel

29.04.2022This is pretty awesome.
What drew you to this multiplayer solution? Is there anything this gives better than something like Photon or DarkRift?

Can anyone tell me if this pack works with SteamVR, or just with the same XR?
